Gerry Van Deventer - Oral / Implant Surgeon

Gerry graduated from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 1997. After relocating to the UK, he worked in Sedation referral practices in London and Kent, where he gained extensive experience in Oral Surgery.

In 2009, he was accepted for a Master's degree in Oral Surgery at The University of Central Lancashire, he then followed this with a Master's degree in Implantology as he felt this would complement his work in Oral Surgery.

He currently shares his time between Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry, regularly visiting New Lodge to treat complex oral surgery and implant cases.

Gerry believes strongly in continuous education. He is a mentor on the VSS UCLan implant MSc program, where he trains dentists in implant dentistry, as well as regularly attending courses to keep his knowledge updated. He is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons (BAOS) and the ITI (International Team of Implantology).
