Urgent Dental Care at New Lodge Dental Practice

Dental emergencies can be painful, distressing, and disruptive. At New Lodge Dental Practice, we prioritise patients in pain and aim to see emergencies within 24 hours, and most within 8 hours.

We understand how worrying dental issues can be, and our experienced team is here to provide reliable emergency dental care with compassion and speed.

What Counts as a Dental Emergency?

A dental emergency includes:

  • Severe toothache
  • Facial swelling or infection
  • Dental trauma (e.g. broken or knocked-out tooth)
  • Post-extraction bleeding
  • Abscess or acute gum infection

If you’re experiencing any of the above, please call us as early in the day as possible so we can prioritise your care.

For urgent dental problems that are not immediately life-threatening but are still causing you discomfort or anxiety, we’ll aim to see you within 24 hours.

New patients are always welcome – even in an emergency.

If your dental emergency occurs outside of our normal practice hours, please still telephone the practice on 01883 717977 for instructions on what to do next.
